E ach spring, the GPN staff heads to Cali-fornia for an eventful week of new-variety trials and introductions. Traveling from city to city, hotel to hotel, trial to trial, California Spring Trials is exciting and extremely educa-tional but it also can be a bit crazy and very exhausting. So we know how important it is to get and stay organized. That is why we cre-ated the 2012 California Spring Trials Com-panion — to help guide you through the week. When planning your trip, contact the com-panies using the information on the following pages to set up appointments and create a schedule that works for you. We’ve already contacted the breeder/marketer companies to get directions as well as hotel and restaurant recommendations. Use the Companion to plan your trip, but don’t forget to take it with you to California, too. You never know when you’ll need a company’s phone number, address or map to get you where you need to be. Having all this information at your fingertips will help you find your way. Look for the GPN staff on the road, at the trial sites and even at some of the hotels and restaurants listed here.
